Classroom choice days are always fun. Each classroom gets to choose a totally age appropriate activity especially for the children in the class. Caviar had fun with mud! Polliwogs painted with bubble wrap! And Nursery had fun with water balloons.  

From the small infants to the Kindergarten and school age children, the petting zoo and pony rides captivated all ages of children at the center when McDonney’s Travelling farm came to visit.  

Europe and Asia were the hot destinations for our week of travel. The children enjoyed learning about the flag of their chosen country, discovered new cultures, sampled local foods and enveloped themselves in knowledge from their chosen destination before heading out to see what other countries their friends had discovered. Outdoor Madness week was filled with outdoor fun including our natures walk, scavenger hunt and ‘camping out days’. All the children had so much fun in their tents, making (and eating!) s’mores and fishing in the pond!

Trail Mix – a mixture of dried fruit and nuts eaten as a snack food, originally by hikers and campers. Today each classroom made their own customized age appropriate trail mix. Below – Caviar & Preschool having fun making their trail mix.
