January Newsletter 2017

Dear Parents,

Happy New Year to you all and your family! Also much appreciation and thanks goes out to all the families who purchased gifts from our Giving Tree for our four ‘adoptive’ families in transition. As a center we went above and beyond to get the wish list complete. A couple of parents were on a mission to have all the gifts purchased, you know who you are, and we really appreciate it. Thank you again.

Post holidays is always tough for the children, but keeping a routine is one of the best ways to help them (and you!) cope. Jan 3rd we are back into curriculum and are in full swing in the back-to-school routine. As a reminder; we ask that your child is here by 9am and we attempt to go outside every day; please be sure that your child has snow pants, boots, warm jackets, hat and mittens each day!

Post holidays mark the beginning of tax preparation. All those who are requesting electronic statements: please do so, as I would prefer to save as many trees as possible – Thank you. Paper statements will be ready in the office for pick-up from January 9th onward.

We hope you all made it in to see the December Museum Week which included a large array of multi-cultural holiday-themed works of art from Christmas, to Hanukah and Kwanzaa.
