Dear Parents,

A huge thank you to all the parents, children & teachers who came out on a damp weekend morning to attend our 8th Annual Walkathon. The turnout was awesome and it is so great for us to see the center as a community. We raised close to $1200 which is all going back into the children’s enrichment program here at the center throughout the summer. Seeing so many alumni from 1st graders thru 5th graders coming back each year to join in our event is rewarding to see. Ms. Deb ran around with the alumni to finish the lap first ready to give out the medals for those completing the course. Even babies riding along in strollers got to be a part of our community as we wrapped up our event with a bake sale and raffle. Most of you, who won will have now received their prize; if not, please see the office. The list of winners is in the hallway. For those who couldn’t make it, please take a look at how much fun we had Congratulations to our two highest pledge prize winners, Will Dichard at $101 and Jonathan Holland at $100.

The summer curriculum is just around the corner. The full list of fun-packed activities will be available online at after June 10th. There will be a PDF for you to print off or you can visit the online calendar to see day-to-day what is going on. If you require a hard copy please ask the office. There will also be a copy posted in each classroom.
