February Newsletter – 2016

Dear Parents,

Apologies for getting the news out late to you this month. Mother Nature cannot seem to make its mind up if it is ready for spring or winter. Not that we are complaining…..we’ll take the warmer weather when we get it and the kids love getting outside rain or shine or snow

You should all have received re-registration paperwork for your child to move up to their new classrooms for the next academic year. We will open for public registration on Feb 21^st . To secure a place for your child please ensure you have the registration form and payment in by the deadline. Kindergarten is now open for public registration if you know anyone looking for a full time Kindergarten program; we have some openings.

We are excited to share that we will be doing a Yankee Candle Fundraiser this spring. Who doesn’t LOVE, Yankee Candle? Watch out for information in March. Next month is also Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Tuesday, March 3rd. As in years past we are asking you to “grab your hat and read with the cat!”; inviting family members to come in and read a story to their child’s class that day. Please see the classroom teacher to arrange a time.

In honor of National Dental Health month, Lindner Dental will be here to teach the children about dental health and oral hygiene on Tuesday, February 29^th.

Dates for the Calendar

• Presidents Day – Monday February 15^th – CENTER CLOSED.
• Preschool Stay’n Play – Preschool will be having a Stay’n Play on Feb 24^th from 4-5pm
• Museum Week – February 22^nd thru 26^th – watch to see if your child will be featured.
• Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration – Wednesday March 2^nd
• Picture Day – Friday April 1^st (for Caviar thru Nursery) and Tuesday April 5^th (for Preschool and Kindergarten Graduation cap & gown) – (retake day April 15^th)
