January 2014 Newsletter

Happy New Year to you and your family! May 2014 bring you good health and happiness. We hope you all had quality time together in celebration. The children were excited to have a concert with Judy Pancoast before Christmas. Thanks to all the parents who came along to join us too! Having young children around always makes for a busy and fun-filled holiday season, but still there are many needy families worldwide and locally. Helping five local families this year through our ‘Giving Tree’ has hopefully spread the joy a little further and brought warmth to your heart in the season of giving. We were amazed again at the generosity within our Little Frogs community in all the gifts that were donated. We thank you all!

The winter season is upon us. Already we are a few snow storms into the season. Please remember to pack those winter hats, boots and mittens along with winter coats and snow pants. We like to take the children out every day if we can. If a winter storm causes us to close; announcements will be made on WMUR and WZID as well as our website under announcements. Any morning closures or delayed openings will be posted by 6am.

Thank you to all who have brought in their used toys, books and puzzles for us. As generous as this is, often they are not suitable for the center. Please check in with Deb first before dropping used equipment or toys off. Thanks!

Dates for the Calendar

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday January 20th – CENTER CLOSED.

The next Parent Teacher Advisory Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 5.35pm. New members are always welcome. Plans for the Walkathon will be discussed! Please feel free to come along and join us!
